Hi everyone, just looking to get some feedback on this model. We are wanting to upgrade to a 5'er and the wife has her heart set on this one. Coming from a 17 31qbds Anyone have any feedback on it? Any major issues or problems? I know some of the fit and finish has gone downhill the past few model years after being bought by Thor.

We will be towing with a 19 F-350 Lariat Sport 6.7 Power stroke, SCrew SRW, 3.55 gears. Anyone with a similar tow vehicle have any feedback on towing? Any hitch recommendations? We ordered the truck with the fifth wheel prep package.

And lastly, any general idea on what I should be looking for as far as discounts go? From reading on here it looks like 30% is a good place to be off MSRP. Our local dealer has one with a sticker of 91xxx. I know having a trade makes this more difficult but just looking for a general idea.

Thanks in advance for your help. Happy camping!

We have the 2017 model. We had some initial issues, but hopefully we have all the bugs worked out.

I was crazy about this particular floor plan, too. We don't even have kids (ours are grown), but the bunkhouse made sense for when the grandson and his buddy want to come along, or if we have another couple with us who wants privacy.

The only thing I don't like is the location of the recliners. I don't like the placement at the entryway. I'm thinking very seriously about removing the one closest to the door and replacing it with a cart with a butcher-block top. The added counter space would be great.

The mid bunk (377), which is immensely popular, didn't appeal to me as much because of the lack of a full outside kitchen. We tailgate a lot, so the outside kitchen is a huge plus.

I can't answer your question about the tow vehicle. We have a 2016 Ford F350 Platinum 6.7 PowerStroke diesel with dual rear wheels. We use a Curt 24 5th wheel.

I will say that when we weighed at the CAT scales, fully loaded, the gross weight was over 26,000 pounds (truck and camper, propane, water, and 3 passengers).

As far as discounts, I think it varies in different parts of the country. We got ours with every option available at the time, including the on-board generator. Ours was on the lot, ordered by the owner of the dealership, who then decided not to take it. We also bought an extended warranty (you'll hear lots of opinions regarding that, both for and against). I feel like we got a pretty good deal considering everything. Most importantly, we can call our salesperson any time we have a question, and he always returns our call (he has an older version of the same camper, when they were still called "Eagle Premier).

I'm not sure what tires come on the North Points now. I do remember hearing that they have upgraded them from the factory. When we got ours, upgraded tires were an option. Ours came with the upgraded Goodyear G614's, and they have been really good. We added the TireMinder tire pressure monitors. We put it off initially, but they give us peace of mind.

Good luck, and make sure you go with a dealership that has a good reputation for service.

We had a North Point 31RLTS which is about 1,350 lighter than the one you're looking at. Initially I pulled it with a RAM 3500 SRW with a 3.42 axle. At the scales I only had about 300 lbs left on my rear axle rating and I didn't have an auxiliary fuel tank like I do now. In cross winds I felt the "tail wagging the dog" which for me was very uncomfortable. Traded up to the same tow vehicle but with DRW and a 4.10 axle ratio. Made a world of difference. Now that we have a Pinnacle that is nearly 17,000 pounds, the DRW is a must, IMHO. The 4.10 axle gets me up to speed before I know it and I average just about 10.7 MPG.
