North Point slide "fault detected" error

Today the plan was to get the unit ready for a trip to Hilton Head at the end of next week. I extended the bedroom slide and the large kitchen slide with no problem. When I went to extend slide #3, which is the dinettte and love seat, I got no response from the slide while pressing the extend button. I tried the retract and nothing happened. I then open the One Control app and went to the slide icon and there appears a note saying fault detected on slide #3. There is no error code showing just the words fault detected.

This slide is not one of the Lippert in wall motor slides, but the type of electric slide that has the arms underneath the slide to extend and retract the slide. I checked the fuse in the fuse panel inside of the basement storage and fuse appears to be fine. Just for kicks, also turned main breakers off and back on to see if I got any response from the slide and all to no avail.

Has anyone seen this before and know if there is a way of over ride the fault or if this is a problem I am going to have to take to dealer to solve?

Thanks for any ideas anyone has.

Pull the fuse for that slide and see if it resets the controller. Breakers are only for 120, not 12v.

Are you connected to shore power? Are you using the battery only?

What is your battery voltage? The slide motors are 12v. At least one person on this site mentioned that they had slide issues due to low battery voltage.

We have a similar issues. The control panel switch works intermittently, and when it doesn't, we have the "fault deleted" warning in the One Control app. The slide always works using the app though.

I thought I had a switch and/or wiring problem, but replaced the switch and traced all of the wiring and can't find anything wrong, but still have the issue.

This is on the warranty repair list...

we recently had a issue were 2 slides stop working we had blown a fuse the dealer had told me to check behind the control panel i unscrewed the panel and followed the wires to another p c board that had 3-4 uses i was able to find a blown fuse 15 amp . in our case we do not own a north point but it is a jayco fifth wheel and we blew the fuse by both of us hitting a button my wife was pulling slide in same time i was outside lifting the front landing gear . this is a long shot but now i know that we have a hidden board inside the camper i never would have know about with fuses. i had to take 4 screws out of my cabinet and pop the panel to get access to this p c board but it was a fuse 15 mins later i was back in business. My situation may i add was my slides did work with the remote but not from the panel .

On my 2019 NP 315 RLTS, the fuse panel for the slides is located in the basement storage bay, on the left side, when accessing storage bay from curb side of unit. There is a panel approximately 24" x 12" that is held in place by two screws. Remove the screws and the panel pops right off to gain access to this fuse panel.

John - any luck with finding out what the problem is when you took your unit in yesterday to the dealer?
