Any class three will work. I purchased two receiver tubes $15 TO $20 ea and had them welded on. Added a couple more braces from hitch to rv to beef it up some.

Has anyone carried kayaks on the back of a Pinnacle or Northpoint.

If so, what does your carrier look like.

I would sure like to hear from those of you who are using a cargo carrier on your Pinnacle or NorthPoint FW, the weight you are carrying, and any modification you had to do make sure everything stays in place from cargo to FW.
What rear bumper???
I use an aluminum cargo tray/bike rack on my Pinnacle. Only ever haul 2 bikes.
I would go to a weld shop and have hitch reinforced before putting much weight on it.

Our Pinnacle came with a factory receiver on the rear welded to the frame. Jayco rates it for 300 lbs. We never bought the cargo carrier. I do plan to buy a tandem bike rack to take one tandem bike.
