I agree with Klassic. Seems a little high. The GY g614 should be around 350 per tire. That's $1750 at discount tire pricing. I'd skip that option and get sailuns for $165 a tire. Also, as I've always been told, shop and negotiate the price on the trailer first, then deal with the trade. Good luck!!

Also here's another way (awkward) to look at it.
If your trade in was a year newer you would probably getting another $2500.

You are buying a 2017, no mater how you look at it it's a 2017, when you could be getting a 2018. When you trade it in it's a 2017, instead of a 2018. You will get less.
If your price difference is $5000 now (I think shop around) your going to get part of that back later.

Money in the bank I say!! Lol.

My '18 build did include the sanicom, 2nd awning, and a gen prep. Since I don't plan on installing a genny in there I may delete that option. Thanks for the advise on that one.
Allot of options for the '17's have become standard on the '18's and visa versa.
I'll have to add the 2" receiver now since it's an option.
Looking at the '16 today I was very impressed. I can only hope the '18 is just as nice.

The second awning is a must. I wish I had the sanicon. I'm thinking of adding one.

I bought and got the Sanicon in a box for now and found the same door that NP's use to store the hose and ready to cut a hole where the "Sanicon Here" sticker is. I looked at where I got to cut the plumbing and its tight. That 469$ option is well worth it after all this and I still have it in a box.
I got the genny prep with genny. It is gas. It is really quiet and great for dry camp. The '18 has some plusses but a lot of deletes of items I take for granted.

What are your thoughts on slide out awnings?
I've read through multiple threads about pluses and minuses.
I'm on the gulf coast where the winds can pick up and rain can be very heavy.

Our first was with, our second one without, and current with and would not have it any other way. They can stand some fairly high sustained winds.

What is people's thoughts on dual pane windows, we mostly use our 5th in the north Midwest and I do use it in the winter months when it's snowing. Is this worth the $1,500 option?

I don't have them. I did some research and they aren't much better than single pane in R value. I'm sure people who have them love them but I felt for me it was too much for too little of an improvement in R value. I think haylett RV did a video on the subject as well. Check YouTube.

I agree! How many diesel pushers do you see without slide toppers?

What are the GY "beast" tires? Glad I have a 2017 387. We really like the TV in the slide and the full length couch across the back. There are several manu. That have the ent. Center in the rear and Jayco was the only one that did not - until 2018.

Glad I saw this thread, we were going to order a 17' but waited, and almost bought another trailer because we wanted the 18cu fridge and we also didn't like the small window above the theatre seating in the 315 and even said why don't they get rid of the cabinets above and put in a smaller window. Our 2018 315 will be ordered on Monday provided the price didn't sky rocket. Kinda sucks ordering one without seeing the color changes etc. I hope mine doesn't have those wheels that were posted above, no offense but I like the current ones better.

The dealers should have the color swatches or at least the pictures. I have seen them my personal choice would be the cashmere (blackish grey).
