Northpoint 351 RSTS

Picking up our new Northpoint 351 RSTS on January 9th any pointers on what to look for would be great. I think I got it covered but it is always good to listen to others experiences

Don't let the dealer "rush" the PDI and delivery instructions. Our delivery rep said "this isn't to teach you everything you need to know about the unit, it's to give you enough information to get it home". I told him "WRONG!!!" And we went (begrudgingly) through the entire unit. I still felt rushed, and it was the only part of the entire purchase process that I wasn't pleased with.

Check that thier isn't long screws poking out inside the vacuum, around the tube that the bag goes on to or you won't get the bag on.

My experience was similar to one listed above. The person showing us the features was woefully inexperienced with this model of trailer (2016 Northpoint). This was especially obvious in the winterizing instructions. Since our dealer is 300 miles away, returning to the dealership for winterizing or just additional instruction is not feasible. I have found most of my help on this forum. My other concern was the auto leveling system. It's fairly straightforward, but there are a few things you need to know. Make them demonstrate how it works beginning with unhooking it from the tow vehicle. Good luck.

There is a PDI checklist Sticky floating around. Good place to start.

I warned the dealer that I will be very thorough and that it will take more than the hour they allotted. I even offered to submit my checklist for their review.
