NorthPoint raised
I had the trailer raised by dropping the springs 1" to the next hole on the spring hangers.
It needed to be done because my 2017 f350 is 2" higher then my 2012 was.
Trailer is much better for level now.
Truck is level.
Also had to lower the levellers an inch too, to make up for the 1" lift.

,That looks good to me. I was looking at that the other day. When I was hitched up I figured I'm about 2.5" high. Planning on doing that and then seeing where I'm at. Is that the factory bolt or did you add one with a grease fitting?

Sorry to slightly hikack the thread. Klassic, I am curious what your weight situation is versus your truck payload. I am assuming you truck is diesel. I have researched f350s to pull a fifth wheel I have my eyes on. I am concerned that we quickly exceed the payload capacity and maybe rear axle capacity of a single rear wheel truck.
I would be grateful if you could share weight numbers if you have them.

Newer 1 tons are all pretty close. My fifth wheel maxes out at 16.5k and over the scale I'm around 3800 in the box (including hitch). My Ram 3500 has a cargo capacity of 4,000 lbs. GCWR is 25,000 with max towing of 17.5k, rear axle 6k, and GVWR of 11,700. I'm legal but anything bigger would be pushing it.

Klassic,
Did your trailer have 3 hole hangers or was the hole drilled? I've never seen 3 hole hangers before.

No...thats how they were.
I think the 17's are different though.
I'm sure no one would use the bottom hole

The pics load for me. I'm on the mobile friendly version of the web site, not the app.

I haven't weighed the NorthPoint yet. All the truck stops in my area shut down and are condos now.
I'm guessing I'm at 2800 on the pin. The dealer went somewhere? And weighed the rig to check (my brake problem) it was 13500.
My Platinum GVWR is 3350. (Different optioned trucks make different stickered GVWR)
Truck weighs 8200 with me in it and the hitch. (I think with the hitch, now I forget if I had it in)
I just touch the overload springs when the fiver is on.
This truck pulls much better then my 2012 did.
I have pulled this trailer with a dually before. It's a night and day difference, but Im not driving a dually for a daily driver.

Just wondering, if dropping the levelers was recommended by Jayco when raising by that small amount of a inch or so.

Not on the PC, but I'm on the mobile now and they work! Strange...
Anyway, looks good! Nice to know an easy option is available.

I was already getting out of stroke errors the way it was using blocks.
Lifting the trailer an inch would have made it worse.
So it's back to the same distance off the ground before raising now.
