Nose cone on 33.5 RKTS fading

Has anyone else have this problem and have you found a solution? Bought this trailer new in 2014 from a dealer in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Did the regular maintenance, roof wash etc trailer cover going into winter. Come spring found the nose cone fading from top down. Contacted dealer and of course warranty was over. Dealer response was that Jayco had problem with this particular supplier and so too bad so sorry. Now what? Have contacted a local body shop and will be approx. $3000 to repaint. Lovely!!

The industry as a whole, not just Jayco, had fading front cap issues then. On the TT we had then it faded while under warranty and Jayco had it repainted. I think repainting is about the only option.

Mine is the same, out of warranty and faded.

Think I'll try to see if I can find a close brown in a rattle can and do the upper portion before I pay a shop to do it.

When the sun beats day in day out on the front cap anything will fade. Mine is 13 years old, the sides shine but front and back is hard to keep shining. Body shops love your money.

I'd ask Jayco nicely if they will help with it before I'd spend any money. You never know.

Ours began to fade 18 months into ownership. Cracks and voids in the gel coat also became visible. Jayco finally agreed with the dealer and sent a new front cap to them already painted and ready for installation.

Does Jayco have a Canadian representative that one could contact or does one deal direct with the U.S.

I have seen a few people use a wrap on the front instead. Should be a quarter to a third of the price
