So far I have pretty much no brakes on 10 when I start, but after 5 minutes I keep lowering and a setting of 7.5 is too much and I go to 7 after about 10minutes.
I don't know if this is how it is for everyone. It was never like that on my SOB.
But I'll take it over what I had before!

Mine r the same way. U controller senses g for stops and applies volts to brakes. I can put my manual switch full on a volts go from battery voltage to like .4!volts. On highway driving I set about 9 so can stop. But in town 5 or I am stopping the truck. I can never skid what ever I do . When warranty is finished I will re wire my FW and keep the drums. When voltages r right they work fine. Look at all the utility trailers out there and most r fine. It is wiring connections that are screwing us

So I've been gone all day and sat down to read this post, but the only thing I got out of it is that you drink beer and everything is fixed! This is now my favorite thread!! LOL

No... it's doing it again.
I can mess with it by manually leveling and turning it off and pressing buttons and forgetting what I did. Then a press of auto level and it figures itself out.
I certainly can't press auto level, shut the door and walk away like I used too

Mine has failed every time I used it. After a few goes it had worked, but not the last time. I had to manual and leave the kids down. I feel your pain.

Haha...no chance.

I called Lippert. He's never heard of the display saying "retracting right" before.
I need to call back so they can run me though some test to determine if it's the board.
He said the only time it says "auto level failed" is because it timed itself out. It only has 1:45 (something like that) to level or it errors.
I am getting the error less then 30 seconds.
If I take to the dealer I don't think I would see the trailer until August.

No I was there for two of them, while we discussed the holes.
He just took out the last bolt and slid them down a hole.
Unless he dropped one and it pulled the wire..??
Guess I'll take a closer look.
Leveled fine when I brought it home.
But everytime it says "retracting right" then instantly to "failed".

Ya... I called Lippert. First guy was miffed at what the display said.
Emailed me after and said to call back... I called back after 3 days, got a new guy. He said try it, and it all worked again.
??????
I have no clue.

He didn't care what the display said before. It works now.
I knew as soon as I pressed auto level it was going to work for this guy.
Sure enough.

Promises

I too have been plagued with leveling errors However this last time in the dealer while he was attempting to get it to auto level the right front leveling arm broke, with a resounding pop and the coach I thought was going to topple over! It is now day 6 w/o my 5th wheel because they cannot find a new one and the factory (Lippert) was out of them and making more. I had a wheel bearing failure just two months ago while in Arizona traveling - another Lippert product. Promises made and not kept.

Just listening in. My auto level has been all screwy the past year. It worked fantastic the first 12-15 times and I was very happy with the system. Then it started getting various codes and would not auto level. The dealer finally put in a new control board. This seemed to fix the problem....once(at the dealer) when I got home it didn't work. So I reset/rehome/calibrate the system at my house and then it will auto level. Go out somewhere to camp and the system will stop and give me an error. Reset at the house-error at the campground. So F ing frustrating.

I "zeroed" mine 2 times. Then it all worked again.

Maybe you have the sensor fall off its mount behind the axels.
Seems to be quite common.

OP Update

While at the dealer, they were working on showing me the way to clear the codes not shown on the website nor in the instructional manual. You extend all jacks more than 6 inches then retract all and that clears the codes. He then went about raising the front end and the passenger side jack broke. I thought the camper was going to fall on its side. Two weeks later after Lippert finally sent a replacement they installed the jack and the drivers side jack failed the same way. It is a constant problem and not just mine. I just seem to be the lucky one with all the issues on one camper.

Well that's not good news.

I was "retracting all" and all retracted except one front jack
It stood there with one leg
It's a scary sight.
