Opinions on a 2008 Jayco Super-Lite 31.5BHDS

Hello all-

I have a thread in the general section about selecting my next TT or 5er. Below is a link to one of the used 5ers I am considering. I am also considering the 2014/15 Jayco Eagle HT 29.5BHDS.

Still on the fence on new or used and TT or 5er.
Family of 4 (DW, DS-15, DS-10).

Anyone out there have this model or can comment on it....

Thanks

I do not have that model, I actually have a 2012 jayco eagle super lite 30.5bhlt with the loft. As far as a TT or 5er, Fifth Wheel for sure having owned both. Besides the comfort factor and space of a 5er, the driving is so much easier then with the TT.
As far as used or new, I have had both and will never buy used again. The deals that you can get on new makes it worth not having to inherit somebody else's problems.

Good Luck

Looked at a few used ones and they all appear to need maintenance and work; especially roof re sealing. Also looking at a new 2014 and 2015 26.5 RLS. The Dutchmen 262 RLX is also very nice.

If I do go for new and try my hand ar bargaining, what do you consider a good deal (percent off MSRP)?

30% off ACTUAL MSRP is generally considered a good deal (some dealers can inflate MSRP), but you will not get that in all locations. RV`s are generally more expensive on the West coast due to higher freight costs. Here is a thread about pricing:
