Oven/Range Cover

I am looking for a cover for the cooking surface on our 2016 Jayco Eagle.

I've seen them on eBay. Not sure why they don't install them at the factory. Every unit I had prior came with them. My Jayco is on order but plan to buy and install a cover.

Consider getting one of these cutting board covers:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The metal covers are way too flimsy, and can't support any weight. The cutting board added a lot more versatility for our limited counter space, and can support a lot more weight than the metal covers. The non-skid bottom keeps it in place, even when you forget to put it away during transit. Highly recommend it!

I this purchased one a few years ago and it works GREAT! No complaints at all from DW. Folds up against the back wall when cooking. A couple screws hold it in place.

We made ourselves a DIY one from a translucent plastic cutting board from a thrift store and 3 shortened, wine bottle corks epoxied to the board. Epoxied in the correct positions, the 3 corks lock it in place on the stove grate when on the road.

When parked, we usually stand the board on edge next to the stove as a 'splash guard' for cooking. We also use it on the counter top or the dining table as a cutting board or a hot plate.

We had to look a while at thrift stores to find the translucent board that was the right size; it cost us $2 (IIRC) at Good Will. We had the epoxy and the wine corks .

X2. We have the same cutting board. We leave it on the stove top during travel. It moves a bit but hasn't fallen off yet. The rubber non skid bottom helps a great deal.

The cutting board cover is the way to go. They are quiet, provide extra counter space, and, of course, a cutting board.
