Oven wont lite

Well I have an 08 342 RLQS Eagle and the oven won't light up. It's a Wedgewood Vision Stove. The burners work great. Tried to light oven manually and still did lite up. Did not hear or smell propane at all in oven. Is there a valve to the oven part of the stove to turn on?

Yep! Like I said I did not hear or smell any propane in the oven area.

Other then the oven knob itself, I'm not aware of a separate oven valve.

I assume that you held (pushed) the oven knob in while trying to lite the pilot...., it may be that the pilot jet is clogged/dirty.

I know that mine at times may take a minute before the pilot will actually 'catch' and stay lite, but I do at some point hear the pilot trying to lite.

Now I can make Pizza lol!!!! Just remember the pilot lite will go out when you turn off the oven to save propane. No biggie!

Our stove has a pilot light position to keep it lit when you are not using it so we only have to light the pilot the first time. I thought they were all like that..

I've had this happen quite often. In the few times the pilot lit, the flame was too small to open the thermocouple above it. I found that if I used a small size tie wrap and inserted it in the pilot(gas) tube and wiggled it around that not only did it light, but was bigger and the oven lit in normal fashion. Makes me wonder if some how the itsy bitsy spider, you know, the same one who nests in your water heater gas tube has relatives... sometimes a can of compressed air from Staples Office supply with a snorkel tube can be a handy aid as well
