Yeah, I do not trust those plastic supports. I did notice that they were not screw in but stapled. This is a design flaw because it allowed them to buckle. Also only 3 of the 4 pegs were making contact on the shelf.

We had same problem on the top shelf. We had 5 or 6 liquor bottles up there. After reading your post I went and checked ours and sure enough the little tabs were not completely broken but bent down. Looks like we caught it just in time. I re-arranged all of the pantry. I was storing my coffee pot on the second shelf and move it along with all heavier bottles to the bottom shelf and keep the lighter stuff on the top two shelves. We were able to salvage the plastic tabs and click them back in, however, I still moved the shelf up one notch to be safe. Thanks for the heads up!

Mine have not broke (yet), but they made the shelves so wide that I can't adjust them. I can adjust those in the bunk house but not in the pantry. Sadly, I can't get them to move up or down so we will likely have to bust them with a hammer to remove them and replace with something else.

MicheleO have you tried pushing the tabs in to move the shelves? The little plastic tabs should push in allowing you to move the shelf.

I can push the plastic tabs but the wood is too wide to allow the shelf to go up and down. It's like they should be 1/4 inch narrower. There is more clearance on the shelves in the bunkhouse and I can push the tabs and move the shelves.
