PDI finally scheduled.... :)

Well RVDirect called and we are moving into the final stages of picking up our new 365BHS. Unfortunatly, June 1 is the first available date they had. The countdown begins... 17 days....

I'm picking up from their Des Moines location. PDI is scheduled for 2pm and although I was advised against getting there any earlier I'm hoping they can work in me in. Have a 5 1/2hour drive up and at least another 6 hours to our campsite.

Our appointment was scheduled for 2 PM also but we arrived about an hour and a half early and were able to start right away. We were on our way home by 4:00. Good Luck.

highlife4me,

I was told they would turn me away if I showed up before 2pm, but have a 6 hour drive after I hitch up so I'm going to try doing the same thing you did. Worse case scenerio is they will turn me away. lol

Down to 14 days and have to admit the last 3 havent been so bad. I'm sure the closer it gets to June 1st, the slower it's going to go....

Don't drive yourself crazy, Jrmay25. I did something similar waiting for my truck. Try to think happy thoughts

Quahog,
I'm thinking nothing but happy thoughts. Been without a camper since Feb 29th when a tornado destroyed our 1 year and 1 day old 2011 365BHS. New camper was ordered the first week of March so when I think I'm down to just 13 days, I emit happy thoughts. Hold on, it's now 12 days, and I just finished putting my 5er hitch back in the truck. Tuesday it's going to be oil/fuel filter/fan belt change and one final going over the truck to make sure shes ready to make the 12-14 hour journey. Forty foot of fifth wheel dwarfs my 3/4 ton but I know she will get the job done.

See, it's working! And today you are at 11 days. Another thing that works for me is to pile on so many projects that you stay busy until the day arrives. As an added bonus, learn to procrastinate. That way, you are always hurrying to finish and you have no time to think about the wait. :hihi:

Quehog,
I purposely had to keep my wife off the computer tonight for fear she would see your post. She's already on my tail about getting "stuff done" before next Friday. My response is the only thing that's a guarentee to get done is: 1. put the hitch back in, already done, and 2. check the ole' Duramax/Allison over to make sure she's ready for the journey. Only 10 more days.

I feel your pain, brother. Got your camping list built and ready to check-off? It saves me a lot of frustration by using one.

We stay in a permanant campground and everything from our 2011 is in storage about a mile from where we stay. So I've never really taken the time to put together a check-list.
