Pendant Lights

Has anyone had trouble with the bulbs blowing in the pendants, both ours keep popping???

We had the same issue but not sure what fixed it. Assuming you'd is like ours, a bayonet style with double contact base. Why they're double contact is puzzling. After letting the smoke out of 3 or 4 bulbs, I exercised the socket several times by putting in and removing a bulb until they felt "right". (Power off) The first few times they felt a bit tight and difficult to remove but soon seemed to take to training. Haven't lost a bulb since. I did go with a lower wattage lamp.

thanks, can we use a single base contact and I was told there are better bulbs???

If like ours, a double contact is the only option. Don't know about "better builds" but out of frustration, I did look beyond the .99 rack.
