PEX Fittings

What size PEX fittings are used in the later model Pinnacles?

Don't know specifically about the Pinnacles, but most of the other rigs are 1/2" for the water lines.

Thanks! Wanted to order a shut off valve for the toilet and wanted to be sure on what size I needed.

Our 2015 had one already installed, surprised they stopped adding them.

Grumpy, unless it's below the floor and behind one of the basement panels, which be rather useless, there is none.

It was right behind the toilet. I was surprised when I saw it.

That's about all the room I had as well. This one barely fit with 1/8'' clearance from either end of the other fittings. Install was fairly easy as I had pre assembled half of it before final crimping.

Why do you need a shut off valve behind the toilet? Do the flush valves fail that frequently?

The barrel of the valve is approximately 1.5” across so you cut the Pex just to clear the barrel of the valve. The 3.5” of Pex gives you plenty of room to install a valve.

Just another helpful option if for some reason you need to turn the supply water off without turning it off outside.

Every home has one for the same reason. If water is getting out of the toilet you can stop it faster than a trip outside.
