Pick up at factory

Anyone here pick up their Unit at Jayco.

I'm almost certain that CANNOT be done. But you can buy from dealers that are in Middlebury.

There have been several threads here about this issue. With the exceptions of those manufacturers who only sell factory direct, I don't think any of the manufacturers will let you pick up at the factory.

They rely on the Dealers to do the final QA and prep. and have agreements with the dealers that they won't sell direct. And the factory isn't prepared to do a closing (with all the tax, license and other state based considerations) so you can't bypass the dealer.

And if you wanted to drive it to the dealer just to speed up the process remember . . . you don't actually own the unit till you have a closing with the Dealer. So if you wreck it on the way to the dealer it's not yours - so it's still on the manufactures insurance. And their insurance doesn't want non-approved drivers.
