Talking Picking the New Rig Up Tomorrow

Fired up. Picking up our new 34.5 BHTS on Friday 3/14. Wife can't wait, she's ready for her dining room to be cleaned out, all our stuff from our previous camper is in there. Little nervous about pulling a 5er for the first time , through Friday afternoon traffic in town.

Know the feeling!

Pick up our Pinnacle 38FLFS on Wednesday. First pull will be very interesting for me too; at the same time I can't wait to get in and enjoy it. We're new fivers as well.

Those nerves will settle but be replaced by a huge grin. Driveway camping this weekend maybe?

I had to laugh out loud about the your wife getting the dining room back. Because we just got ours back a couple of weeks ago when we brought our new 32BHDS home

Well the dining room is almost empty. Love the floor plan. And, yes, we did driveway camp last night. Weather here, last night was perfect for it. In the process of making some bed rails for the kids bunks. I am amazed how better a 5er tows compared to my old 33RLDS bumper pull.

After a couple trips I became more confident pulling a 5 instead of a bumper pull. Getting better at backing it up too!

Congrats - enjoy your new camper.

We have all of our stuff from the camper we sold in the garage. We are waiting word that our new camper is ready to be picked up. Last word was that it is built and now sitting at Jayco waiting for someone to give it a ride to MA.

Towing with the 5th wheel is SOOOOOoooooooooooo much easier and no white knuckles any longer. Do yourself a favor and find an open parking lot and practice backing up. It's a little different than a TT. Enjoy the new rig. We will never have a TT again after owning a 5er.
