The new FW. Landing legs are down but no weight on them. Tech was doing final adjustments..

The dealer told me that they have cut out the sub floor for the levelers and raised them up and then foamed in around them. This may be my next step to get them higher.
Just a question. Do you have the auto level system? My leveler in the rear are tucked up under the bumper. I admit I was worried about the ground clearance after reading about so many people with that problem. While I have electric rear leveler, when they are retracted you don't see them..

That's GREAT news Ruth! Apparently Jayco made a change on the 2018 to the leveling system, or your dealer added an aftermarket system, or ... are you sure the rears are levelers and not stabilizers?

I guess I did use the wrong word. I have stabilizers not leveler and glad I do. If the leveling system leaves them too close to the ground for comfort, then a change is needed.

Stabilizers make a world of difference in ground clearance. Although, I will always be cognizant of my ground clearance, I gotta, at least, give a thumbs up to the LCI Ground Control system that Jayco uses.

Case in point ... this past weekend was our maiden voyage with the 27.5RKDS. We went to a local State park about 4 miles from our home. Unbeknownst to me, the site I reserved was quite un-level both front to back and side to side.

I got the FW positioned where we needed it, un-hooked the TV, and pressed the "magic" auto level button. The auto level system went to work and after about a minute, it was complete :-) However, the tires on the passenger side of the FW, were about 1" above the ground and the front levelers were quite extended. Yes, I was concerned since the LCI system is NOT designed to "change a flat" but the system held, solid as a rock, during our weekend stay.

That is great. We didn't want to spend the extra on an auto level system. We can get our campers level in about 10 minutes. Hoping the new FW will be easier. We will find out the 27 -30 this month. Our maiden voyage and birthday getaway..

FW's are fairly easy to level. Just check side to side when you pull in. Put blocks under the wheels on the low side until that is level. Then front legs so you can unhook and level front to back as 'normal'. In severe cases you will have to add some blocks to front or rear jacks. Never takes me more than 10min.

Auto levelers are really nice. Just check to make sure you don't need blocks under one or both of the front jacks before unhooking
