Me too but mine is locked out. It sounds like if you’re using the orbital part it can lockup in a turn.

Side note: Tried plugging in my VIN but got an error! The message suggests 16K rotational PIN - I wonder if this is the sidewinder option? I've got the MORryde pin box that doesn't move.

How do I know if mine is locked out? I am not an expert on this topic and this is our first fifth wheel. I have the B&W Companion hitch. My dealer has me schedule for the repair in August but I have a 2,000 mile trip schedule for late July. Help!

Locked out means that the pin box does not move, it is locked forward. It is unlocked so a short bed truck can pull the 5th wheel without a slide hitch.

I have the orbital pinbox and love it. Jayco emailed me and verified I’m ok.
They answered the email inquiry in less than 24 hours.

Mor/Ryde 16K Orbital Pin box

Got my letter yesterday. This applies to the Mor/Ryde 16K Orbital pin box and not side wideners or the non-orbital pin boxes. If you are using the pin box in the fixed position (non-orbiting) you are ok but still should get it repaired. If you are using it in the orbiting position you will need to replace the bolts and shims to put in a fixed position and operate it as a fixed pin box until repaired.

Called my dealer. He does not have parts or tools yet to make the repair. Jayco/Mor/Ryde have not shipped them yet. Bummer for me is I have a 6'8" bed and my hitch is not a slider hitch.
