Pin Weight 281 Rls ??

Does anyone know the dry pin weight on a 2006 281 RLS - I have f I've found one Jayco document showing 281 pin weight at 1380 pounds, and another showing 1645 pounds. Does anyone know which is correct. I'm trying to figure out if I can tow this with a F250.

Yes, it starts at 1,380 but that's straight out of the factory with ZERO options. That 1,380 figure is useless. It doesn't account for things like air conditioners, ovens, batteries, propane tanks and other items. It also doesn't take into account any items that YOU add to the camepr such as clothes, food, bedding, towels, pots, pans, and all the other stuff you pack into the storage areas and cabinets.

If I had to guess I'd say you're closer to 2,000 as a pin weight then you are to 1,380.

I agree, your actual Pin Weight will be quite a bit higher than the published weight, even being conservative, you will be up to an actual weight of 1,600 lbs. to 1,800 lbs.
