Pinnacle 31RETS

Soon to be owners of a Pinnacle 31RETS and was wondering how any other owners of this model like it, good or bad?

Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your new Pinnacle, BigRed. I don't have one but they're beautiful inside and out. I'm sure you're going to love it.

I've got the '12 edition of that model. It generally has been a great trailer. The biggest flaw it had was on the way back from Alaska in 2013 when the machine pin came out of the top gear on a front landing leg. Had to use a bottle jack on that corner until I was able to make my own repairs. Luckily the pin was stuck in a wad of grease so it didn't fall out of the assembly and get lost. I figure I have roughly 25 K on the trailer to date. It is taking me back to Alaska for this summer.

This is the 4th Jayco product I have owned, and is the most solidly built and comfortable RV I've owned.

BTW, congrats on your purchase! Hope it brings a smile to your face like mine has!

Bought the same unit, so far so good, couple water leaks simple fix, everything working so far, very poor quality control, spent 3 days filling nail holes. Jayco does some really industry leading stuff, but other things you just shake your head. My first Jayco, had two Titaniums (Glendale) unfortunately no longer in business, that would of been my 1st choice, my 2008 was far superior then the 2015 Jayco, Good LUCK

bankedtime, Thanks for responding. Where were the water leaks? How long have you had yours and is it a 2015?

Thanks,
BigRed

Sorry forgot to answer your other questions, 2015 - 31 RETS bought it just before xmas 2014, started using it beginning of March 2015, one other problem that I have is that the icemaker in the Samsung fridge does not make ice the way it should will take a look at it this weekend.
