Pinnacle 36kpts and sanicon

Just bought a 36kpts. Haven't taken delivery yet... Would like to add the sanicon. Was told that jayco uses the 500s. If you order that from the factory

Looking at the 500. It looks like it just goes directly on the end of the sewer?. Does any one have the 500s installed?. I would like to see how it supposed to be installed

Thanks
John

If it's not too late I would have your dealer contact Jayco and have them add it on. I believe the price is $495, a lot less than having it done after the fact. And yes, it is the 500.

Attached some pics of how dealer installed mine on 2018 Eagle CKTS. Dealer wanted $800 and went in half with me so my cost was $400.

However, I had some issues with their install.

They used a fairly rigid connector hose and it leaked where the cuff attached to the hose. They looped 6 ft of this hose and connected to discharge hose in the storage box.
I removed this section today and attached a sleeved discharge hose to the pump. this hose attaches to the original discharge hose giving me 40+ ft of hose.

They mounted the storage box using self tapping screws with the sharp point up in the box. I removed and replaced self tappers with round head and lockwasher and nut on underside.

The 5er was prepped with wiring for the sanicon. This includes a relay(backside of battery disconnect) and a 10awg wire ran to sanicon location. The dealer chose to route a 12awg -2wire from the battery to the sanicon switch/pump. They put a relay inside the box and a fuse at the battery.

I am awaiting a schematic from Jayco to locate the prepped wire at the sanicon and will rewire using 10awg. and eliminate dealer wiring.

Dealer said they would repair this but they are 300 miles away, so I just decided to do this myself.

Thank you soooo Much... this is what I was looking for... looks like you added a Y and then sealed it off with some foam? and will use the original 3" if you ever decide to use it? or did I miss something with the Y?

Where did you get that sleeved hose? part number? etc?

Thanks a million... I think I am just going to install it myself.. but want to get the parts I need to make sure I don't have any surprises..

The link will take you to a video. About 30 minutes in you can see how it is set up on your rig.
