Pinnacle 36SSWSW

The wife and I have been looking at the Jayco Pinnacle 36SSWS for a potential retirement purchase in a couple of years. I just noticed that a 3rd A/C is not an option in this floor plan. Will 2 be enough in the south during the summer??

Is 2 ACs ever enough? Probably, but do they have heated tanks and double pane windows? We camp in the north and think we should have them. Your Pinnacle is a beauty for sure...

We have just 2 AC's in our Pinnacle which is a similar floor plan and we are sitting in triple digit temps as I write this and they cool down our 5er big time!

That is good to hear. When you say big time, will they cool it down to 70 degrees with triple digits outside?

We set the temp at 74 on Auto Cool Hi and find it very cool & comfortable. BTW, I have the same pin box and have very little to no chucking at all.

Thanks for the quick reply sir. That should be plenty good during the day. Then when it cools off outside at night 70 inside should be easy to achieve.

We have the heat 15k heat pumps and love them. Quiet enough and we too are cool as a cucumber in triple digits in broad sunlight with no shade. Oh and high humidity (SE GA coastal marshland)

We have a 2019 Pinnacle 37MDQS mid bunk unit that is 42 feet long with the heat pump in the living area and the AC unit in the bedroom. The units have done well and have been enough to keep our unit cool up to 100 degree heat so far. We have gotten to campgrounds and it has been hotter than 95 degrees inside the RV at times and it gets comfortable in less than 30 minutes but taken as long as two hours to get it down to 72 degrees. For us two have been enough so far.

I have the Pinnicle 36SSWS 2019 Model and we just spent a week at Myrtle Beach SC and the 2 air conditioners did a great job cooling the camper to 70% also to 68% but that was to cool for us.
