Pinnacle 38FLWS Question

Does anyone have the 38 FLWS with triple 15K AC's? I was wondering if the 2 15K's do the job or 3.

I've got a Northpoint 375BHFS that's pretty comparable in size. It has 2 A/C units in it. One for the main living and one in the master. Both are ducted together, as I'm sure yours are too, and they do a pretty good job. Temps get much above 90* outside in full sun they start to struggle keeping it much lower than 75* inside. If it's around 80* at nite, you can hang meat in the master and the main living area is pretty cool.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm glad I got the third one installed from Jayco. I camp at the lake and it is always hot and humid. Our Forest River struggled to keep cool on hot days. Kept all shades down and doors closed helped out. Do you have the resedential fridge?

We had a Forest River Sierra bunkhouse 5th wheel. It was a 40' and only had 1 A/C unit. It didnt do very well in the heat all all. That trailer was a total piece of junk. Lots of problems. Broomed it for the Northpoint.
Northpoint has a 27cuft residential Fridgidare fridge in it. Absolutely love it. Works great too.

Yeah I had second AC installed in Sierra and it helped. I really didn't have no problems but it was cheap made. I've had other manufactures before but never a Jayco. I got residential fridge in the pinnacle. I hope this one lasts a while. Thanks

Cheap made.... you're being too kind. Lol! Mine was a 2015 sierra select 375trip and I had more problems with it because it was cheaply made. I had a wheel come off going down the highway (not my fault), fresh water tank nearly fell out of the bottom, ceiling fan blade flew off, fridge panel spent more time on the floor than on the fridge door, furnace quit, roof leaked, .... I could go on for hours.

Nice thing with the Northpoint, Pinnacle, etc. that come with the residential fridge, if they quit, they are easy to replace and at a fraction of the cost of an rv fridge/freezer.

Not to get off point, but I see your signature in your post but i cant see mine.
Seems like we both have about the same setup in trucks and trailers. Current and past. Lol!!

Hello. New to the Forum. We have a '18 38FLWS that we bought Feb, 2018. We live in North Texas and took it on a Grand Canyon trip last June. Ours has the triple A/C units although the center one is actually a heat pump. We have never had problems with cooling the unit. It even cools off fairly quickly from being heat soaked from the drive.

YMMV.
