Pinnacle front window cover.
So, we purchased a 36SSWS Pinnacle two weeks ago and before the shop delivered it they found that the front window had a chip or was broken still not clear. However thats their problem. My question is does anyone know of a cover or shield to put over the window during transit?
Thanks, Stan

I would be interested in that also. It would be nice if they made covers for the entire cap. Sure would keep it clean and chip proof while traveling.

I found this which covers the entire cap. Anyone have any experience with such a product?

That’s an interesting idea. Not sure I’d want to drill into the nose cap to secure the mounts and I’d be a little worried about the ropes or fabric flapping in the wind as you’re driving and rubbing through the finish. In the video it didn’t look like there was much flapping but I suspect you need to position the mounts in the right place to minimize it, which means you’ll have to drill more holes.
What about some PPF (clear bra)? Most high end diesel pushers (as well as high end cars) utilize it.

Tom, chaffing is what I would be concerned about also. That could be disastrous! Much easier to remove bugs than deal with the gel coat being eaten into. Jay Wax Bug Zapper is what I use..........it melts the bugs away.

Pinnacle front window cover.
Al,
I haven’t heard of that product. I’ll look into it. I’ve been using Turtle Wax Seal N Shine and bugs usually come off with normal washing. I had been using Meguiars ceramic spray wax which was pretty good as well.
Edit
If I’m unable to wash my trailer right after a trip, or there are some stubborn bugs, I use stoners bug eraser. Works really well.
