Pinnacle hide a bed

I brought a friend camping with us in our (we love it!!!) 2012 Pinnacle 34RLTS. Folded out the hide a bed, pumped up the queen air mattress.......the mattress hung over the bed frame and had to be placed on the floor. Using the couch cushions was not an option, they were too high. Anyone?.... before I drive to the dealer and look silly.........

We used our sofa inflatable bed a couple of times and it fit the frame ok, it did not hang off the end.

Solved

Turns out Jayco sent the wrong mattress. The hide a bed dimensions per the specs are 54 x 74. My mattress is 60 X 80. Jayco said to ask the dealer for a replacement mattress.

Air mattress should be in the drawer under the couch/bed, at least that's where mine was.

Jayco has discontinued the inflatable mattress. In our 2014 Eagle Premier you use the sofa cushions for the mattress. I am not sure when the change was made.

Change was made to the 2014 model year Eagles. Upgraded master bed to pillow top, swapped out the air bed to a Denver mattress, changed to "slam-latch" baggage doors, added the entrance step light and under-awning l.e.d. lights, and changed over to the almond colored exterior.

I am not a big fan of the couch/bed air mattress set up. I feel if you want to sleep on an air mattress, use one on the floor. I having the love seat/bed removed from our Pinnacle and 2 theater seats installed instead. Sometimes I feel it is more comfortable to sleep in a recliner than in a small bed.
