Pinnacle- Love at First Sight

We've been shopping around for a new 5W at our local dealership for a couple of weeks now. DW and I are getting close to placing an order on a Pinnacle 31RLTS. Our second pick would have been an Eagle 321RLTS, except I/we became smitten with the amenities of the Pinnacle.

Here are the options we are considering:

• 2nd 13,500 BTU low profile A/C in Bedroom
• Central Vacuum
• Customer Value Package
• Fireplace
• In and Out 22" LCD HDTV in bedroom
• Kitchen power vent
• MOR/ryde® pin box
• Summit Package
• Thermal pane tinted safety glass windows

So, those of you who have a Pinnacle- what are your opinions of your rig? Any pitfalls that you have encountered? What about must have options?

I have a Designer which was replaced by the Pinnacle, but has a lot of the same amenities you mention. This time of year I really like the fireplace. It is just what is needed to take the morning chill off without having to start the furnace. I have just the fireplace and not the complete rear wall treatment. I like having the open rear window.

I full time and the extras are worth every dime.

Pin box upgrade for sure. Don't even think otherwise, it's night and day. Customer value package was no charge when we bought our Eagle last year and would have done it even if it cost us.

Can't comment on the others as I have none as listed with the exception of the central vac which I looked into and they cost about $250.00 for a DIY. So benifit would be warranty on it and installed from the factory if cost is in line.

We traded a Montana for a 2011 Pinnacle 36RETS in July 2011 and we absolutely love it. It had the fireplace and we thought that was probably a waste of money but reality has proven otherwise. Great for chasing out a chill without turning on the furnace. Love the full body paint as it is much easier to keep clean and looks great. Our kitchen is in the middle and we have full access to everything in the kitchen without extending slides except for the pantry. Got the double door refer and have plenty of room for food now. This is our first Jayco and the quality seems so much better than the Montana. I'm sure you will love yours also.

We will pickup our new Pinnacle 35LKTS in about 2 Weeks, seems like forever.
This will be our second Jayco 5th Wheel, we are looking forward to many years of great service from our Pinnacle.
Ours has the Thermo Pane Windows and MorRide Pin Box which was on our must have list.

Those Pinnacles are beautiful, congrats on your decision. IMHO your list of options makes sense. If you're going to do it, do it all the way. When, not if, we upgrade we'll probably go with a Pinnacle now that DW has seen the inside of one

We also thought the fireplace was a pretty luxury.
Turns out, it makes sense. Really adds to the ambiance inside and it keeps the rig toasty. We have been in the NC mtns for almost a month.

Not freezing but it has kept the rig very comfortable without using propane.

I hope this is not a stupid question, but what type of fireplace is it? I thought it ran on propane.

It's electric. The flames are simulated.
