Pinnacle propane quick connect

The propane quick connect on our 2018 Pinnacle 36KPTS is not working. It doesn’t appear to be getting any propane. Anyone else have this problem that might now what is causing it?

Does yours have a little lever to turn it on and off? Sometimes it’s kinda hard to see.

I'll add a picture of it with a lever. The one on our TT isn't as obvious, or as large a lever.

The male end can be hard to push in all the way, and lock in the coupler. It also may take a while for the propane to travel to it, if it's been a while since it has been used last. Just a thought.

Here's a pic of the propane quick connect on our 2020 Pinnacle 36KPTS, you can see the shut off valve.

I would agree with JFlightRisk. If you haven't used the quick connect in a while it may take several minutes for the propane to reach that end of the camper. Mine is located on the rear door side, that's about 35' from the propane tanks.

What are you hooking up to the quick connect? Like a grill or stovetop? Is the male end the same manufacture as the female? Trying to get a visual of what you have in front of you.

Are you using a grill that is set up for this connection? The propane line on your unit is connected to the low pressure propane AFTER the main regulators. If you hook up a grill that is set up to run off the unregulated pressure from a propane tank, then you will not be getting enough gas pressure to operate the grill.
If your grill is one of the specific models made for RV hook-ups, then you should be OK.

If you connect your hose, turn on the valve, wait a minute, then disconnect the hose you should hear a slight discharge of gas and smell a little propane at the male quick-connect fitting. If you do, then you are getting propane from the camper

You should be getting propane, your valve is in the correct position. I think you need to look at the specifications for the lantern and camp stove you are using. Were they originally made to operate from the 1lb bottles or a propane tank like standard grills?

I'm also guessing neither of those have a regulator attached to them. Especially the lantern. Double regulators in the loop, and no fire.

Good point, a second regulator is a problem.
There should not be one on your grill to connect this way. If it had one to connect to a tank, it needs to be removed.

My Northpoint has 2 outlets like that. One for the grill in the outdoor kitchen. And the other is for a bumper mounted grill. I tried a Coleman that I got as a service anniversary gift. I molested the gas setup so it didn't have the second regulator and it still didn't work. I called coleman and was told that particular model is pressure specific, wouldn't tell me the pressure, and wouldn't work for what I was wanted to do. However, they did tell me that a road trip grill works with the same pressure my low pressure lines put out. Wink, wink. So I bought one of those and molested it with a 12' whip and some fittings removing the regulator. And a little help from youtube. Lol!
It may be the devices you are using are like that one grill I had and won't work. Like posted, you can't have things double regulated either.
Try to connect the whip you have to the shut off valve, turn the valve on and then back off and disconnect the whip and see if you smell propane. You may have to do it a few times to purge the air out, but when you disconnect the whip is should make a little bit of a popping noise letting the pressure out of the whip, if there was any pressure in it. If not, then I'd say it's not connected.
On my Northpoint those lines are run and attached to the bottom of the I beam frame from the back most of the way to the front before they go up inside the coroplast underbelly covering.
