Thank you, you might have to speed things up because I seen where CA is going to charge a moving tax, that where ever you move to you will still have to pay theirs taxes for 10 years, crazy.

Better than beating yourself up to make time/speed.

We would love to do that Brians but the wife and I are both Pastor of the church so our obligation to the church, we would love it but can't not at this time. Thank you for your comment.

Forget all that antifreeze. Buy one of these, and take along an air compressor. IMHO, you should have one for a trip that length anyway. Just blow your lines out before you pull out in the morning.

Yep, I would agree the main thing is don't have any water in your tanks and lines blow out the water in my hot water heater also.

On the map the north route takes you through Chicago and some potentially snowy driving depending on the time of year. The more southern route would avoid the snow and be a prettier drive.

Hubby won't do that but thanks. Our dealer says he has seen too many blown out and damaged valves in our small type of units

Nice info
We are looking to do the same route, but with a short stay in IN.
Just hope there are plenty of camp openings when we get along.

Not if you use no more than 25 to 30 psi at 30sec at a time.

The plan was to go in the summer, a long time ago we use to go by the way of CA so we start at the top and go all the way through on I-40, going through Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and along that route, well I don't want to go that way again.

Being that you're retired Army as am I, the RV park at Ellsworth AFB just outside Rapid City SD is superb.
