Local guy makes the shades to order. I drew what I wanted and his metal shop fabricated it up.

Hi I used the Meguiar's M5032 Marine/RV One Step Cleaner Wax makes really quick work with a D/A orbital still a lot or elbow grease but really easy and you would be hard pressed to mess anything up. then after all the imperfections are buffed out I used Avalon king ceramic coating on the cap and Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax on the rest (works great and cheaper) plus this part see almost zero sun. All this stuff is really user friendly. I used a Milwaukee M18 FUEL18V cordless 15 mm DA Polisher
to appl the polish I used 7-1/2 In Wool Buffing Pad from Harbor freight and to apply the Meguiars ceramic wax I used a red foam waxing pad from Griots
and in between washes to remove bugs ect after dusting I used Best of show destailer spray on all my cars too stuff work reall well.

Meguiars

I agree with the Meguiars products. I just cleaned my 31RETS with the Marine/RV one step cleaner, and then waxed it with M6332 Flagship Premium Marine Wax. I used a DA orbital and went over all decals, including nose and tail (RETS does not have a back window).
Looks wonderful. And I agree the work makes me feel old(er).
