Poor OTA reception

If you have been battling poor OTA antenna reception, check the condition of your coax behind the pop-up TV. The lift mechanism was quietly crushing my coax. A 15ft length of RG6 from Wallys and some wire ties fixed the problem.

Also the junk crimp on coax connectors they use will cause issues. I redid all mine to the compression style. Most of the crimp ones pulled right off with little effort.

I replaced all my coax with solid copper RG6. The ridiculous routing and cheap copper clad wire was causing way too many issues...
