Popping noise

We have a north point 310RLTS 2021 and have been having issues with loud noise that sounds like a pop. Seems to come and go and located in bedroom area floor. Have had mobile tech take a look but couldn’t find anything wrong. We thought was hydraulic jacks but thinking is not the case. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any feedback or suggestions. We have lived full time in camper since purchasing in July.

Welcome aboard!

Can you describe when this popping sound is occuring? For example, during the middle of the night while sleeping? Maybe when parking, leveling, walking across the floor???? Where are you when you hear the sound?

Without knowing what is happening when the noise is occuring, it could be a wild goose chase. Can you tell if it is from under the 5ver, or maybe within the cargo hold or ?????

Popping noise

Thanks for response, noise occurs inconsistently. Sometimes when sitting in living room will hear popping in bedroom, sometimes in middle of night if get up and walk to bathroom it pops, seems to be located near foot of bed above cargo hold. We have wondered if is heating vent. (Heat is not on) just seems to be the area. Can be very loud sometimes. Is very erratic, may go a couple of days then start up again. We have been stationary for a few weeks.

Back in 15 I purchased, other brand, and it had hydraulic jacks on it. That unit did the same as you are describing and I narrowed it down to those hydraulic jacks. We ended up brooming that trailer and bought our current Northpoint. It's even larger than the last one but has electric jacks and no popping noises with it. I'd say its your hydraulic jacks.

Thank you, we have not been impressed by the equalizer system. Had had issues with leaking and one of the front jacks had to be replaced within 2 weeks of ownership. Did contact equalizer and they said maybe air in the system which could make the jacks drift but unlikely. We wanted to reach out to a large group of actual owners to try and get a handle on what is cause. I actually did think about your solution but don’t want to buy a new set of problems! Lol
