Power awning switch

We've had our 07 345BHS for 2 seasons now, and like our first Jayco we are very satisfied with it.
One thing that puzzles me however is the location of the awning switch. It is in the front bedroom on the front side of the dresser.
As good as Jayco is I got to wondering if there was a second switch somewhere in a storage compartment or somewhere accessible from outside. I've looked pretty hard to no avail. Am I missing it somewhere? Any help would be great.

Just an observation, 'cause I don't have your model, but the switch is probably placed in close proximity to the awning motor. It more than likely was just a convenient place to put the switch without running tons of wire.
