Our RV came with a 50amp cord, but only one A/C (wired for 2). Others may be in the same situation.
I purchased a 30amp cord and leave the 50 at home, so much easier to handle. About half the time I just use a 20amp cord.
I’ll admit that the 50 is a great cord when using the one A/C, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and electric water heater all at the same time. Or I just manage the power usage. Now I just take the 50 when needed, which is not much.
Meanwhile, I’m drawing plans up for a wooden box with vertical slots to slide my cords and hoses into so they are all standing up rather than laying flat. Kinda like some homes have for the oven pans if that make sense. Ill put a couple of slot handles on it so I can slide the whole box out if needed. I’ll post pic’s when I get it done.
