Preferred tyre

We are in the market for new tyres for our 5er, never having bought tyres for a 5er, we would appreciate any suggestions for a reliable, good quality tyre.
Thanks

Our 5ver is the 3rd towable RV that came new with Goodyear Marathons. Two of those were Jayco products. "Mr." Jayco must know what's good, and I concur.

I,ve noticed several eagles in the gvw range of 13.5 thru 14.5 with load range D tires. Thats getting to close with the calculations. Ive got them on mine and have gone three seasons without any problems.

OUR 313 RKS came with Goodyear Marathons. Unfortunately they are made in China and are commonly called 'China bombs'. I will replace them before our spring trip although they look like new simply because I no longer trust them. Check on other forums for a great many tales of serious damage done by a blowout at speed. My suggestion is that your first criterion in choosing a replacement tire is to verify that they are not made in China. Also be advised that many folks are using LT tires to replace the ST original tires.
