Quality of Jayco Eagle Premier

I just ordered a 351rsts Premier & hoping I've made a good decision. I have a 320rls Eagle travel trailer now that I've had for 4 years & it's been problem free other than attachments that hold blinds & 1 light on slide that has broke from all the bouncing going down road. It's only sat maybe 2 months in 4 years as I use it for work purposes. I was considering a Cardinal or maybe a Montana. Does anyone wish they would have gotten another brand? I had a Hitchhiker Premier at one time but they have priced themselves out of what I want to pay.

Quality of jayco eagle premier

I own a 2012 321rlts and am completly happy with it. I traded a 1999 eagle for it . the 99 eagle was trouble free all those years. Would't have anything but a Jayco.

Same here. Had a 2001 DESIGNER 3230 MH, now have a 2008 SENECA 35GS and both were basically flawless. Couple minor issues with awning and fridge door. We're going back to a FW and I just ordered the PINNACLE 38FLSA.

Not me either! I owned a 2001 Jayco Jayflight, 2010 Jayco Jayflight, and now a 2014 Jayco Eagle 5h wheeler. This is my first fifth wheeler and although we had problems that came from the factory, the dealer got us all fixed up and we are very happy campers. Use our unit at least once a month so we got all the bugs worked out very quickly. This is our 3rd Jayco in 13 years and the first one with any problems at all.

Welder24 - we just got (in June) a 2015 Eagle Premier (see sig).
Been very happy with it so far, no issue to report yet, though we've only been out in it 3 or 4 times so far.

We really like the upgrades they made from the 2014 model year.

We've found a few minor defects in furniture that we're still waiting for replacements, but other then that - nothing. This is our 1st Jayco & 1st 5th wheel and so far we're very happy with it. Seems like a good quality product. Our previous trailers were Sunlines, which we felt were very high quality trailers and the Jayco's quality seems to compare with the Sunline's.

IMO you made a good choice and you'll be happier with the Eagle Premier then you would have been with either a Cardinal or a Montana.

Only suggestion I can make is take your time doing the PDI. Don't let the dealership rush you. Our dealership let us come up the day before our PDI and we spent ~3hrs going over the trailer, then we spent ~3hrs during the PDI and there were still things we missed and found after we got home with the trailer.

Good luck with your new 351rsts Premier, I'm sure you'll get many years of enjoyment out of it.

This is awesome rv! You should get many years of enjoyment out of it. We have had a few minor problems with ours but it haven't kept us from camping. When something breaks, we take a picture of it and email it to the dealer (Cenla camping) in Alexandria, la. They call us in a few weeks to tell us the part is in. We then setup a date to get it fixed that is convenient to us. So far this has worked out great. The best camper we have owned. This is our third rv but first Jayco

351rlts owner for 1.5 years and had significant issues.
1) spark ignitor on water heater was bad
2) toilet leaked at base
3) shower door leaked
4) after MUCH pain, collapsed main LP hose

Having said all that..we still love it and I don't think any other brand would be better.

We are very happy with our Eagle Premier. There have only been a couple of minor issues. We would order the same trailer again.
