question for Pinnacle owners

When we ordered our coach, I opted not to add a 5th slide topper for the dining slide. My dealer told me they do install a topper for this one, but due to height issues they usually install in upside down. I sorta wish now I had added it. Anybody else got one installed over the dining slide in this manner?

Yep, just keep some dry silicone lube spray handy for the first few times you open the slide. The topper squeeks and moans since it rubs on the plastic corners. Doesn't hurt anything, ours has been on since delivery.

Never realized that. I will start looking at slide toppers. I retired from RV sales and never has a customer install a slide topper upside down. I always encouraged my customers to have slide toppers installed at Jayco on order out units. Why not get the 2 warranty on Jayco slide toppers too.

It's actually just the brackets that are flipped.

What's the brand on the toppers? I may go ahead and pick one up.

Whatever the factory installed, I think Dometic.

Mine are all carefree like both awnings. The toppers are well made and look nice. Wish the awnings were the better ones and not so wimpy

They switched in 2016, 2015 they used DOMETIC, so it will depend on the year.
