Question on a new Pinnacle

We're about to purchase a new Pinnacle. My question is in the 2024's they had the 4 large windows to the right of the main door. On the 25's they eliminated them. Was that for a particular reason? Were they problematic with leaking or causing stress cracks or????

Only my 2nd post here so please be gentle...

I can't get the 2nd pic to post so it's in the next reply

My apologies guys. I can't add another pic. Hopefully you guys will know which model I'm talking about.

Congratulations on your purchase, outstanding camper. The best.

I'm attaching an inspection guide you might use when you are getting your new owner walk through. Ask the salesman to let you checkoff each item to make sure your new camper is perfect before it leaves their lot, that way if adjustments are needed, you get them done on the spot rather than later when you'd need to make an appointment and wait.

Also consider finding a campsite very close to the dealer so you can spend your first night(s) nearby. There's a lot to remember and figure out, you'll appreciate being close by the dealer when questions/problems might be resolved in a few minutes.

Looks like they borrowed a window from the Brinkley factory. The new Pinnacles look really sharp.

Looks like the trailer has one kitchen window with panes between glass panels. Stress cracks generally occur below the slideout.

That picture shows 2 AC units. If you are able order with 3 units, you won't regret it

I just purchased this summer a 2024 pinnacle 37MQRS mid bunk ordered the three air conditioners generator prep went with electric water heater most importantly, dual pane windows. I'm in Cincinnati full-time have had a few issues with the BM pro tank sensors, incorrectly, installed from the factory and a few other things.

4 to 1 window

Jayco makes changes to reduce their cost while not reducing the RV cost. Mid year of the 2023 RLTS they stopped installing a baggage door on the outside behind the refrigerator and installed a black plastic grill. Decision was either a shortage of doors (not) or a cost savings for them. Started again in 2024 with the baggage door.

Totally agree with this ^^^^.

Our Pinnacle came with 2 A/C's and they just couldn't keep the rig cool enough on warmer days (mid 80's). Added a 3rd A/C and all is good now!

I am sure that they didn't just put the plastic grill on just for the Norcold fridge. They put the plastic grill on mine and it has the 12 volt electric fridge. My research on 2023 units with electric fridges showed that it was a temporary production change for them to put on the plastic grill in place of the access door behind the fridge.

I am convinced they just ran out of the access door temporarily and used the plastic panel instead. The plastic panel is a joke and should have never been used on the units.

I took the matter up with Jayco who refused to put the correct door on my rig. After opening up a case with the BBB, Jayco eventually agreed to fair settlement on the matter.
