Quick overnight stops and staying hitched

Hello to all,

We are planning our first trip of the Spring to Kentucky from MN in May. We are having a one night stop and planning on staying hitched. We try to be level within reason to help with the slide performance. We’ve tried to just stabilize with the jacks but cannot seem to get them to operate individually. They come down front and back. I know there is a way to do this but we can’t figure it out . Any suggestions in how you do a overnight without unhitching is helpful, and if you can point me in the direction of individual jack operation.

Thank you,
Stacie

Hello NanaStacie, I don't never unhitch if I'm going to stay one night going to my final destination , w us logo block to add and to take away if we need to. I don't know what kind of system you have as far as your leveling but you should be able to manuel let one leg down at a time, look at your book or in help in you In-Command System, we just let the leg down far enough to take the pressure off the truck.

We can lower the front landing gear with out lowering the rear so we do the same thing. Just enough to take the weight off the truck. Just remember to raise it before you take off in the morning lol

If I park in a reasonably level spot I just drop the tongue jack to level it fore and aft and take a little bounce out of the rig.

The only other thing I do is unplug from my Jeep so I can't run the battery down. Since they are in the same place I haven't forgotten either one. LOL

Love the sign at the campground gate 'DON'T FORGET YOUR STAIRS OR WIFE"
