Rainier, I'm truly a believer now!

Finally towed my unit for the very first time from Tampa to NY total of 1360miles. Other than that, I hired it to be towed 180 miles back and forth to dealer 3 times for warranty. From the factory to Tampa 1200 mile, so a grand total of 2620 miles. So today I'm prepping it for factory repair (emptying it completely) and winterizing it. I noticed the sidewall bubbling issue (inside and outside of sidewall) on both passenger side tires. Couldn't believe it , I aired tires exactly to 80psi and checked the axles seal for leakage before leaving Tampa and all was perfect. For those who had warranty done for this, what did they do for replacement. I know I'm not moving an inch until it's fixed either way.

Post a picture or two if you can. I have Rainers, still under warranty, wouldn't mind if Jayco pitched in for a new set of Goodyears Eundurance tires.

I'll get some pics tomorrow. Left my phone at the house. You can push those bubbles in like a inner tube, unbelievable.

I swapped my Raniers out with only 500 of my miles on them. Not sure about delivery miles but I just wasn't comfortable towing on them. Went with Maxxis and couldn't be happier. I have just over 3k on them and they perform flawlessly...

Switched out the Rainiers with only 200 miles or so on them to Goodyear Endurance and went up one size and went from a C to a D rating. Ours is a single axle trailer so in my opinion the best tires available are the ones I want.

Did you upgrade your wheels?
Did you get a good deal and if so, where?

I have over 5000 miles on my 2016 rainiers with no issues, and contrary to JOF standards, I tow over 65mph, omg!!!!

Don't believe everything you read on the interwebz, folks.

We went over 20,000 miles on the original Rainiers with no problems.

However, as a firm believer of Murphy's Law, the White Hawk now has Goodyear Endurance.

I had blowmax on my 14. First spring after sitting all winter I went out and one tire belt broke so the tire was round in the middle through the tread with bubbles on the sidewall on one other. I sent pics to Jayco and they offered a specified amount per tire (4) to offset the cost. Ordered Maxxis from DTD and had the dealer mount and balance them under Jayco warranty.

Start with Jayco and see where it leads.

Odds are that more than 50% are going to have good luck, but not much more with the Chinese tires. Maxxis issues might be under 10% and those are odds I can live with.

We kept the R's for the first trips, 1500mi. We are near max load on the trailer so I got the new Goodyear's. I only regret not getting the bigger wheels and tires at the same time (we only have 15" wheels).

Next tire change will get the bigger wheels as well.

We only have about 3k miles on the Goodyears at this point.

Brother-in-law had two blowouts on his smaller Cougar. Carlisle I think. But, I also think he liked to travel at 75mph on hot summer days in the SW.

PS I highly recommend a TPMS so you know what your tires are doing all the time.
