He was surprised that mine worked properly. I asked him why was he surprised, and he said many don't pass his little test. That was concerning to me.

FWIW, I checked mine, and I'm on heavy electric set at 5.0 towing around 8,000 lb travel trailer.
Here's a question......

Our previous F150-29BHS combo wound up at a "7". Neither DH or I remember seeing "heavy" or "light". Is that a setting on only the Chevy and Rams? Otherwise, will we see those settings on our new 2016 F250

Can't speak to the others, but HD Ram trucks come with 4 brake setting options: Light hydraulic, heavy hydraulic, light electric, heavy electric.

Thanks

I checked with a neighbor who has the Ram and said the same.

We also had the opportunity yesterday to learn more about the factory trailer brake control for the 2016 Ford Heavy Duty's.... still the same as our 2009 F150; just numbers and no wording. So fortunately, nothing new for us to learn
