Rear hitch

Does anyone know of a manufactured receiver hitch that can be bought to fit a 2012 Eagle 5th wheel, 321 RLTS?

My 29RKS had these brackets attached from the factory. I purchased the factory hitch assembly and bolted it right on.

Thanks for the response. I don't have those bracket. I didn't know Jayco made a factory hitch. Guess my next stop is s Jayco dealer.

I was looking at those. Was hoping someone has had experience with them. Hate to buy one and it not fit right.

Mine came equipped with a cargo hitch. Definitely not for towing as it has no safety chain hooks.

I cannot comment on any real world experience with the ones I linked to.
I just remembered seeing them. And wanted to mention.

Thanks, not wanting to tow with mine either but for a bike rack or other things.

The Jayco factory hitch I installed has a tongue weight rating of 400 lbs. I occasionally haul my golf cart to cart friendly campgrounds.

I am assuming the hitches are model specific?

Not sure, since mine was prepped for a hitch from Jayco, I just ordered the hitch that fit. FWIW - Lots of posts on here about adding hitches, many just have hitches added on by welding shops or hitch shops.

I just went out and looked at mine and it has the artic kit under it so I think I will have to fabricate something weld to the bottom of the frame. Plus the rear stabilizers don't give me a lot of room for some of the store bought hitches I was looking at.

I had a welding shop fabricate mine, it was just shy of 400 bucks.

Generally, FWIU, only the Eagle HT 5er's had factory installed receiver hitches available. Word I heard, the larger trailers did not have the factory receiver available because it was felt by Jayco that adding 2nd trailers behind the larger 5th wheel would exceed legal length limits.

Thanks, that makes sense. I'm not wanting to tow. I want something substantial to mount a good solid bike rack to. The manual says not to attach to The bumper and it sure doesn't look like it would hold up well.

Just received a Hollywood Bike Rack from RAD E-Bikes to carry two E-Bikes . The rack weighs 80 pounds. The bikes weigh 65 pounds each. Total weight 210 pounds. My rig is a Jayco Eagle 28 foot fifth wheel. It has a 2 inch receptacle in rear. Any experience or opinion?

Bike rack off bumper

I have very thin bumper, on my Rockwood Roo TT, that holds a spare tire and our stinky slinky (inside). I wanted to carry a bike rack so I purchased two things:

1. Curt bumper hitch:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had been warned the bumper would not support a bike rack and I've seen pictures of what could happen.

2. Mount-n-Lock SafetyStruts Heavy Duty RV Bumper Brackets:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This provided the strength needed I so the bumper could not break it's welds from the twisting force caused by the bike rack.

My new 321RSTS (on order) doesn't have a bumper but it does have a hitch receiver.

The image below is off amazon, not off my install.
