Rear jacks won’t retract

Back jacks won’t retract and we have this error: LF Jack error. We are stuck. We have a call into Lippert but it’s Saturday so waiting for an on call tech. Anyone else have any issue like this?

Rear jacks won’t retract

Can’t see which unit have. LF jack error implies an error with the left front jack as opposed to a rear jack. As to the rear jacks - make sure you have sufficient voltage from either good batteries(battery) or shore power. I’ve read where insufficient power can cause some odd errors. Next, I’d check the electrical connections at the rear jacks and also where they plug into the control box. Lastly, if it is indeed this system, you can pull the rubber plug on top of the jack and operate them manually if there’s room.

That’s all I’ve got. The smart people should respond soon.

TxLoser is correct. Check your power supply then manually retract if needed.

Also check the motherboard where each leg plugs into. Make sure that they are actually connecting. I had to replace my motherboard this past summer. Looks like something int he basement bounced up and broke the LF connector from the motherboard. I screwed a large piece of Tupperware over to protect since.

I’m just throwing an idea out there.
When my front Jack was in the stage of failing, it would jam and screw the whole system up.
LF error was one of the errors.
Nothing would work...rears wouldn’t retract...lots of odd problems.

Unplug the connectors on your LF and use the ratchet and see if you can move it.
It could be the RF too...unplug both connections and ratchet it.
It shouldn’t be very hard to turn the ratchet.

Have you tried to retract manually? I have operated (by smart phone) each leg. Normally when I want to stay connected for the quick overnighter.

Thanks for the responses and help. We were able to retract manually with a drill but the system is still out of wack. We now have a new Jack error: MJ error. We’ve checked all connections and power source and all seems fine. Lippert customer service never called us. 😞. Maybe they will call tomorrow. We got to our next location and manually lowered and leveled so we’re functioning but we still need to figure it out. We’ll have to look for answers again on Monday when more stuff is open.
