Rear stabilizer replacement/repair

My rear stabilizers are non-functioning at the moment.

They stopped working electrically last year, this year they are really stiff and I sheared the pin on the manual crank.

Is it possible to replace them with rear jacks instead of stabilizers?

Yes I did add a set of scissor jack's on my 5er to help in the wiggle.

Awesome. We’ve been in several sites where I haven’t been able to get the front low enough to be level for various reasons. Have jacks in the rear vs stabilizers would greatly ease the struggle!

My 28.5 came with the manual jacks in back. I traded in a Rockwood for the Jayco and it had rear powered stabilizers which I really liked. So I yanked the manual ones out and bought and installed a nice powered set from Etrailer.
