Recliners

We have a 2011 Jayco Ht 26.5 RLS Fifth Wheel. Currently it has two swivel rockers and we want to replace them with recliners. Anyone out there that has done this?

I read on another forum that people replace them with Lazy-boy recliners. I think they make a smaller footprint recliner that works well for RV's. I looked into it, but a bit pricey!

Yes they are expensive. Went to Lazy Boy today and the one I liked is $699 each! My worry is that the chair by the back door when in the reclining position will not clear die to the cabinet drawers in front of it. Thanks for your input.

I've been looking online because I wanted to replace ours. They are vinyl and I want cloth. I've been looking at wall recliners, so you can have them 2-3" from a wall and they still recline. CampingWorld has recliners, Wayfair even Overstock.com. We even have a RV furniture store in Nampa, ID, near me. All so expensive. Why is a recliner $500+? (More like $800!) And, if you want fabric, even more! I'm thinking I might look into having them reupholstered.

I know what you mean! It's outrageous! Next I'm going to check with local rv dealers who may have used for people that traded up!

I bought 2 recliners with foot stools for my RV they are the metal tubing style and each weighs under 50 lbs.. Not often in the RV world you can upgrade and save weight and $$$

Big Lots sells these awesome glider/recliners w/footstool that are perfect for the RV.
Comes in fabric or faux-leather in a few different colors.
I replaced both my original Jayco rockers with these.

They routinely go on sale for just under $100, so watch for it.

Recliners

We put 2 of those in another rig. We found them to be uncomfortable and the ottoman was always in the way.
To each his own.
We ended up with Lazy boys on sale.

We found our recliners!

After much searching we found two brand new RV Recliners on Craig's List that we bought for $375.00. The fellow selling them upgraded to leather recliners and never used the ones we bought. We are happy soon to be retired campers! Thanks everyone for your input!

We have spotted the exact same rocker/recliners that Jayco uses at our local Costco a few times. $399 Not currently in stock. Search on-line for the "Caroline" by Synergy Furnishings out of Mississippi (they do not have a web site). Other companies also use the Caroline name, but the recliner is not the same.

We seriously thought about getting one or two more for the house! Very comfortable!

Flapper,
We bought the same recliners from Costco. They fit perfectly in the space for travel between back wall and slide in on our previous 26RLS. I measured and re measured to make sure they would fit when the slide was in. You are correct they are very comfortable? We have them in our family room now. It would be nice if Costco would bring them back.

When we purchases our 351 Eagle Premiere, we hated the heavy bulky recliners that came with them. We ultimately replaced them with a Benchmaster recliner from their Euroline. We ordered them via the internet from discountleatherchair.com and when they arrived had some minor assembly. We love them and are much easier to move them around.

I purchased one of these this past fall from Costco and I can attest, they're very comfortable with a compact footprint.
