Recovering sofa cushions in a 351RLTS fifth wheel

Just wondering if any have had to recover or replace the L shaped sofa cushions. My rig is only 3 years old and I can't figure how it can be done.

Good question. My leather sofa is still looking good, but I do have one cushion that is in need of beefing up a bit. It is the one behind where I sit all the time to watch TV. I have noticed there is a zipper on the bottom of all of the cushions including the backs where I could remove the old stuffing and adding new. I'm not sure this would be an easy task, but it seems it could be done. Now, recovering I don' have a clue, but am interested in any comments.

So far we have no problems but noticed that all the cushions except one are attached to the frame. One day it's gonna be coming to haunt us.

Perhaps you could buy the covers pre-made from Jayco?? Might be worth the call to find out.

Or..... If you have the talent, you could remove the old cover, remove all the stitching and use the pieces for a pattern on the new material. That should give you the panels needed to sew together a new cover.

Edatlanta you can easily add more stuffing by opening the zipper and either removing the old or adding to it.
Using the old pieces as a pattern is a great idea if you have the talent to redo them yourself, otherwise you will need to find someone able for you. Not to hard to do.
