Reese Revaluation Hitch Head
Just checking with the experts here on the forum. Recently I switched out my Reese Revaluation Hitch Head for the MorRryde Orbit Hitch Head. I have now a newer Chevy 3500 Duramax with a 6.6 bed. So when I bought the 2016 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS fifth wheel I had a Chevy Silverado 1500 with a Short Bed and the dealer recommend the Reese Revaluation Hitch Head. I see that the last couple of years Jayco has been using MorRyde Orbital Hitch Heads.
So my question here are the folks with the MorRyde Orbital Hitch Head happy with this set up?
Thanks
Marko

I have a 2016 Jayco North Point 311rkts and it has the MORryde pin hitch which came with the RV as an option the original buyer ordered. I also have the shorter 6.9 bed in my F350 with a slide hitch, I've never needed to slide. The MORryde hitch is all I have ever used.

I’m very happy with mine. Just verify that your hitch is compatible. I’m having yow switch out my hitch after I found some wear. And found from hitch manufacturer that my original hitch was not compatible.

Update to Reese Revaluation Hitch. I made the switch to the MorRyde Orbital Hitch head. Had it installed at MorRyde and all went well. I have noticed an overall improvement in the ride and handling. No chucking and a breeze in backing up. No more pull throughs for me.

That is the same hitch my dealer is ordering for me. I have the 16K S now and it is not compatible. Husky recommended the 16K W.
The 16K S is not allowing the pin box to sit flat on the head. I’m lucky I didn’t have an issue.

The head doesn't swivel as much as it use to with the Reese Revaluation.

Chas111: I have the Husky 16 K W as well. Just make sure they installe the right MorRyde Block plate. I had to get a replacement at no charge from MorRyde.

When you say “block plate” are you referring to the wedge?

Yes it's the wedge. Sorry. I didn't really notice till I was on very curvey road heading to a campground and it felt like rig was slipping or like I had a flat tire.

Is that the universal wedge? I see there is. RTPB77-004 part# for 16k W hitch.

That photos is the wrong Wedge that was installed. It was wearing out the right side of the wedge. You can also see the pin wear where the paint is coming off. MorRyde sent me out the correct wedge once I showed the photos.

I got the Husky 16k W installed today. Big difference from the 16k S. Dealer said main issue with my old hitch is that it was “worn” out. The bushings were non-existent. The different locking mechanism will take some getting used to. It’s sitting a little high but I’ll have to see how it does.

The dealer replaced my Husky 16k S with a 16k W hitch. It seems to be a much "heavier constructed" hitch. The 16k S was not playing well with the Morryde Orbital Hitch. The 2 hour drive home yesterday was a lot different with the new hitch.
Looking at your images above - I now have the same setup as you.
