Reese Reveloution King Pin replacement

Anyone replace their Jayco supplied Reese Reveloution King Pin with another brand? I am thinking of replacing mine (As I have a new truck HD3500 with a six foot bed) with a Lipert Rota-Flex King Pin. I have a 2016 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS.Any comments or concerns would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Marko

Why are you considering this? I have the revolution on my 28.5 with a 3500 TV. Tows just fine.

By mistake I damaged my Reese Reveloution King Pin. Don't feel safe with it after having it welded by professional welding company. Maybe just me but I would like to feel more confident down the road. Current Jayco model fifth wheels are coming with MorRyde King Pins.

I understand where your coming from. I have had two 5th wheels and both had the Revolution. First one was pulled by a F150 Eco short bed and I had the wedge installed. Was a real PITA hitching and unhitching. Next unit I now use a F350 and dont have any turning/clearance issues so the wedge isnt a consideration at this point.

How close do you come to your truck cab on a tight right or left hand turn? Do you have a six foot bed or larger? I have a six foot bed and busted my rear window . Ouch?

Mine is considered a short bed but its 6'-9". In the beginning I used to get out and look a lot cause it had me freaked out a bit. Now I know I can go all the way to the other side of the 5th wheel body till there's light at the other edge while looking through the side mirror's in either direction and be clear. That gets me about 3" away from hitting the cab. The inside of my bed I can go full steering wheel throw in either direction and not worry about hitting anything.

You have a larger bed at six foot nine inches . My bed is only six foot. I wished I had that additional nine inches then I would not broken my rear window. I took the plates out once I got the six foot bed in my new truck. After that I put the plates back on . No problem now but the Reese Reveloution has always been difficult to back up and reconnect. I would like to inprove both.
