Mine does the same just not nearly as easy as the one in the video. You just cannot push it back it takes force to start the box moving.

I will have to call Jayco, on this one. I want to order the RR on the 365, and I bought a reese elite 18k w/slider. My thought process was The RR can be locked in a straight position for use on long bed trucks. If i ever get into a situation where I need to have my trailer towed, it makes it a little easier and a bit more universal. The slider on the truck will only be used on other trailers without a RR. One dealer told me that he recommends having both for this reason, (plus it costs more) and it gives you just a bit more room if you really get jammed up. The dealer that I want to purchase it from, says that he can not order the RR for me if I have a sliding hitch. Says that it is Jayco's rules. I think that they are confusing a manual slider with the superglide. What would be the difference if the slider is in it's forward position? I will update tomorrow when I get my answer. Also as far as I know the sidewinder versions cannot be locked lioke the RR for what it is worth.

Update:

Once again my dealer has given me false information. Icalled jayco and reese and both confirmed that using a manual sliding hitch in the forward locked position with a RR is completely fine. I really cant stand dealers that do not know what they are talking about. Will keep you posted on how the rest of the purchase goes.
