Refrigerator not cooling
I bought a 2022 jayco 355mbqs eagle lil over a month ago and everything worked perfect. Moved it to the river 2 wks ago and no problems now came back today fridge has lights when u open door but not cooling. Any suggestions

Neither side is cold? What do you have the temps set to? Does the 2022 have an access door to the back of the fridge like our 2023? Might make repair a lot easier if it gets to that.

Thats the weird part. 3 weeks ago it was cooling fridge and freezer. Last night it wasnt cool and ive turned power off and back on and changed temps up and down. Freezer is set at 0 both sides and fridge is set at 36. Yes theres a access panel on backside. Is there a hard reset or anything?

That was my first call. They said turn it off and back on for a reset. No help from dealer.

you can download the owners manual. Make sure it's not in the Demo mode, which doesn't cool.

Its not in demo mode. I think we lost power at the river and we think thats when it stopped working. Not sure if inverter has somthing to do with it. But i did unplug fridge yesterday and gonna plug it back in today. Dealer said unplug for hard reset, so we will see.

FYI...that frig....which is the same one I have....has a variable speed compressor and an inverter built in. If the Frig inverter took a surge they are replaceable. You can see it from the access panel lower left corner in the back.

Is there a way to check the inverter to see if its bad? So i domt have to buy different things. Our local rv dealer is 4 weeks out. And that inverter i can replace if thats it. Is there a damper on this fridge that could be it. If its the inverter i buy one today. Thanks again

I also have a surge protector on the camper. I just checked the fan is turning but still waiting to see if it cools.

You would know right away if it's cooling. Do you hear the compressor running?
I would skip the dealer and find a Whirlpool repair man directly. You may want to contact them for possible warranty or good will repair. Make sure to tell them you have access to the back of the frig through a door. Many do not want to work on one in a RV if they have to move it or slide it out.

Is the unit level ? To fat off level will affect fridge.
Is the unit fridge side sitting out in direct sunlight. Excessive heat will affect fridge. I installed vent fans behind fridge to increase circulation. Also put circulation fan inside fridge.
Don't overload your fridge

Yes residentail fridge, and its level. Its in my fifth wheel. I didnt get extended warranty. I bought it less than 2 months ago. It was cooling then after a few wks it was barely blowing and not cooling. The fan is working, and condensor is warm and its running. Not sure if its thermister, inverter attached to compressor. I called whirlpool, still waiting on them. Rv placae i bought it from is no help. Its southhaven rv and boat, dissappointed in them. But my fault not buying extended warranty. But i never do. Im thinking like learjet. How can u check inverter or others things to narrow down
